With over ten years extensive experience in manual therapy, Marques Manual Therapy “MTM” began working in Sydney in 2013, working with women of all ages and evolving into treatment of high-performance athletes. MTM also worked at a liposuction clinic based In Sydney, treating over 20 clients per day with the most complex adhesions and scars. However, after many years of extensive experience and working with the renown pioneer osteopaths in Australia, MTM has brought all its experience and love for manual therapy techniques directly to our clients, through up to date knowledge to support and serve the public with the best services and results.

Marques Therapy is certified in the Casley-Smith method of complex physical therapy for the conservation treatment of chronic oedema including lymphedema and lipoedema.

Livia the director of MTM is a Brazilian national, who as a child, participated at competition level in many sports, but it was European handball that she exceled in at a very young age, being called up to join the Brazilian youth team at the age of 14. After so many years of high level sport I required 3 arthroscopies, and then in my downtime during rehab and with a lot of support from my family, I began studying physiotherapy in Brazil, after moving to Australia since then, I have balanced work, study, and continued my handball training, while balancing motherhood. In 2024, Marques Manual Therapy was founded, another dream come true, after another glorious rehabilitation of my health, I continue studying, trying to continue playing handball, and now dedicating all my work to the community.
